Galerie Chartier has joined forces with several International venues to present this exciting collective work by 100 video artists from around the world.

As you well know, 2013 is conventionally considered the 50th of videoart. Was in 1963 that Nam June Paik expose his first videoinstallation, in Germany.
To celebrate this event, Magmart Festival launch a new project: 100x100=900. 100 videoartists are be called to be part of project, realizing a video around one year of past century.
The artists are selected within the winners of previous editions of Magmart Festival, to assure the gross quality of project. The selection is done with the goal of include artists by five continents.
All these videos, will found a relevant corpus, a remarkable narration of this dense present perfect.
The project will start its exhibition stage in 2013, with a screening in Naples (Italy) in the course of Universal Forum of Cultures. After, we want take the project around the world, the must widely possible.
We are looking for partners, to bring the project around the world.
At partner, we ask to organize at least one full screening of the 100 videos, in their country. The look of any event must match the general guidelines of project. The name of partener organization will be listed as partner of project, au pair like all others, and the logos will be showed every where the project will arrive.
Any partner is free to find local sponsors for the project, and keep the contribution for the organization of local event; local sponsors will be listed and showed worldwide.
When the partners list will be closed, we’ll contact single curator to organize show in uncovered countries and – in case – in the same country of a partner but on different locations (always with the agreement of partner).
If you like to contribute at the project, we are at yours disposal to provide more exhaustive and/or detailed informations.

Currently, we are working to bring off an agreement with the Superintendence for the PSAE and the Museums of Naples, to schedule the main event of project at Sant'Elmo Castle, base of Napoli Novecento museum, in partnership with the NapoliFilmFestival.

Videoplay is an Argentina-based international platform for the dissemination of videoart over the world. This is an initiative started in 2004 by the visual artist and curator Silvio De Gracia, who is an artist-run with an extensive experience of organization and curating international festivals and events in videoart. Currently, Videoplay is focusing especially on the gender of the videoperformance and other works which, though not clearly framed within the category of art-action, reflect a deep anchorage in the performatic sphere. The main purpose is to spread the videoperformance made by artists from around the world, especially Latin American artists.




The Napoli Film Festival, organized by Napolicinema in collaboration with the Superintendence for the PSAE and the Museums of Naples, is now in its fourteenth edition and returns with many intense days of cinema for movie fans, with evenings devoted to an auditorium with Incontri Ravvicinati with the great protagonists of the film.




Lab-Yit, is an Italian Art Point based in Beijing that comes from the clear need to establish a foothold and reference for Italy in China. Cultural association C.A.R.M.A. - Centro d'Arti e Ricerche Multimediali Applicate, born in Rome along 2009 by the encounter of critics, curators, artists, cultural brokers, graphic and web designers, and works in Italy ond overseas organizing shows, events, art seasons, festival, concerts workshop and talks within multimedia arts. The association offer itself like structure for research, production and promotion of contemporary arts, with a special attention for digital and electronics arts (videoart, videoinstallations, computer art, sound art, intermedial theater, avantgarde cinema and experimental electronic music). Goal of C.A.R.M.A. is to offer with constance an exhaustive panorama on multimedial state-of-arts, offering wide selections of authors, from international pioneers to local promises, through a constant work to monitor and collect, even between international calls and by constitution of audiovisual arts and research music archive.
